A Small Lamp for the Laundry Room
You know how people are super picky about what music is playing? I’m that way with lights. The lumens and the kelvins matter, people! I found an adorable, $12 lamp from Target that emits the perfect warm glow in the mornings and evenings.
Felt Laundry Baskets
I’m digging these felt laundry baskets for four reasons: they’re the perfect size for our family’s laundry needs, they’re easy to tote around, they don’t scratch the top of the washer & dryer, and they look pretty when left out in the laundry room compared to standard plastic laundry baskets.
A Plant-Mister
Andrew actually gets full credit for this find. We were using a simple spray bottle to mist our plants which was a pain in the ass. Andrew discovered this large format mister. Once you pump the bottle, you can spray a continuous spray instead of having to repeatedly press a spray bottle arm. Yes, I would go so far as to call this a life-changing purpose.
Pantry Labels from Paper and Pear
I love the simple, modern look of these labels. I use them on my glass spice jars, flour containers, soap containers, and cleaning bottles. You can customize any label set, and the turnaround time is incredibly fast.
Full Focus Planner
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I’m obsessed with this planner. It’s the only tool I’ve used consistently. Because it’s so functional, I actually look forward to using it!
UpChoose
UpChoose is an affordable subscription service that allows you to sustainably dress your baby in cute, organic clothing! Not only have I saved hundreds of dollars, I’ve been exposed to a variety of clothing brands, so I know what brands fit well and which ones I should avoid based on Luca’s size. Use code FRIENDSOFJOANNAWIRICK for a discount!
Fellow Carter Coffee Traveler
This traveler gets used daily and has held up incredibly well. It keeps my coffee hot or cold for hours, and I especially love the ice splash guard when I opt for cold brew.
Nuna Trvl Stroller
One hand to collapse. Thirteen pounds. Fits in an overhead bin. Need I say more? Since we don’t live in a pedestrian city, I assumed we wouldn’t use a stroller much. Holy cow was I wrong! Hands-down, this was the best purchase we made. Check out my full review here.
Glass Spice Jars with Bamboo Lids
This year I went all in and decanted my spices, and I don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner. The diameter is just the right size. You can dip a measuring spoon in or if you’re a finger-pinch person, you can grab your spices with ease.
Milk Frother
Cold foam. Warm foam. Vegan milks. This frother froths it all! She gets used multiple times a day, and something we’ve gifted to friends and family.
Our Place Pan
After seeing this pan all over IG, I finally decided to give it a try. I purchased this as a Christmas gift for Andrew––a risky choice since he is incredibly particular about his kitchen tools. He put this pan to the test and tried every cooking method. It truly does it all! I will definitely be investing in their ovenware set next!
Portable Bottle Warmer
Although this got mixed reviews online, I decided to give it a try, and boy am I glad I did! It’s easy to use and clean, and it evenly warms the milk. It’s perfect for when we’re on the go, and I like that I can warm up the bottle in the diaper bag if I need to. The seal is super tight with no leaking!
House of Color Consult
Now that my body is starting to feel like my own again after Luca, I’m so excited to shop knowing that I’m a winter! I’ve already invested in a few pieces that I never would have thought suited me. Katie is an incredibly talented badass, and I learned so much from her in a short amount of time. I can’t wait to invest in a style session with her!
